GRAMS Aboriginal Health Workers begin the transference process
Five AHWs at GRAMS have excellent new clinical health skills that will benefit Aboriginal communities.
The group undertook the ‘Work with Medicine’ unit as part of the transference to the new national AHW qualification.
Employed in a variety of roles within the service, the GRAMS workers demonstrated their expertise in the delivery
of primary health care to the Aboriginal community.
The initial courses being offered now are; Certificate III in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care , Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care - Practice , We also hope to offer training in population health, practice management and family and child health in the near future.
