Are you an AHW working in the metro region who is interested in working with families to improve the health of our babies and children. AHCWA Sector Workshop
The Aboriginal Health council's Sector Workshop will be held at the Esplanade in Fremantle on the 24th -26th March 2009. This years theme is Developing New Health Leadership.
AHW Assessments
The Aboriginal Health Council and staff of the Training and Development Centre have undertaken the assessment of the existing AHW workforce within the ACCH's from Port Hedland to Bunbury. The purpose of this assessment was to identify gaps between the existing qualification and the new national qualification. We have currently completed the first stage and have organized cluster training in the regions to begin the up skilling process.
